Kim Jung Soo is a Chicago-based multimedia artist and creative director whose practice explores how human presence and perception shape space. Working across installation and site-specific research, she treats the body as a sensory interface that absorbs and leaves traces within its surroundings. Her work begins with environmental observation and develops into immersive spatial installations. Recently, Kim has created abstract image-based installations and drawings inspired by Chicago’s city lights and personal memories rooted in her father’s bedtime stories. She holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has exhibited internationally across the United States, South Korea, Iceland, and Estonia.
