CAD Outlets, Affiliations, and Collaborators
ORGANIZATIONS
Saint Xavier University
Through co-founder Nathan Peck, CAD has had exchanges with Saint Xavier University with such programs as Street Studies and the Art of Games. CAD and SXU students interacted in joint classes and exchanged exhibitions at each others locations.
Illinois Institute of Technology
In 2006, IIT invited CAD to conduct its Reactionary Drawing and Movement Studies classes as workshops for their students.
Marwen Foundation
In June of 2007, CAD is hosting an exhibition for Marwen students. Marwen offers free arts education to underserved youth. The CAD exhibition allowed these high school students to produce their own exhibition in our storefront gallery and interact with our 2nd Friday audience.
School of the Art Institute of Chicago
CAD has hosted exhibitions for an SAIC undergraduate video class and graduate lighting design seminar.
RESFEST
CAD hosted an after hour party for the international digital film festival RESFEST when they came through Chicago. The party featured an all star line up of CAD VJs and DJs.
VERSION
Version is an annual springtime convergence that brings together over 500 artists, musicians, and educators from around the world to present some of the most challenging ideas and progressive art projects of our day. The Chicago Art Department had a booth at their NFO Expo in 2005 and 2006.
MF Chicago
CAD recently collaborated with the MF Chicago art collective to produce video installations for the very successful dusk-til-dawn Looptopia event in downtown Chicago.
Hyde Park Art Center
Hyde Park Art Center is one of Chicago's oldest community arts centers. CAD exhibited a collection of student videos February - April of 2007.
JRick and Locale Sundays
Locale Sundays at Rodan (2005-2006) was a weekly event featuring djs and vjs. It was a great outlet for CAD vjs and students learning live visuals.
Abstract Science
Abstract Science is an radio show on WLUW 88.7 FM featuring electronic music. They also produce a variety of electronic music events and showcases around the city. CAD has provide live visuals for a few of their shows.

Ann Tyler and Connie White (School of the Art Institute of Chicago)
Ann Tyler and Connie White are instructors in visual communications and were our first guests on CAD-TV
Hans Breder (Iowa University)
Hans Breder, the "godfather of intermedia", started the intermedia program at Iowa University. Hans was a visiting artist and guest on CAD-TV
Jane Gilmore (Mount Mercy Collage)
Jane Gilmore teaches art at Mount Mercy College. In addition to being a guest for CAD-TV, Jane ran a special one night art class/project for our students.
Mason Dixon (Chicago Motion Graphics Festival)
Mason Dixon is a video artist and the man behind the Chicago Motion Graphics festival. Mason Dixon has taught a video and motion graphics workshops at CAD.
Ed Marszewski (Lumpen, Version)
Edmar has been a prolific producer of artistic and cultural events in Chicago. In addition to being a guest on CAD-TV, CAD has been a participant in Edmar's Version festival.
