CLASS DESCRIPTION
Novel Design is an exploration of interMEDIA design - or collaborations between writing, painting, drawing, photography, even video, sound in the context of design. This class will examine the subject of interMEDIA as an artmaking concept as well as a broader social, political, and cultural one.

We will then explore various ways of expressing our thoughts and ideas in the form of image, text and graphic storytelling. We will produce a book prototype for the May exhibition. Ideal for artists/designers looking for creative, non/professional design outlets - as well as writers, scholars, etc looking for expressive outlets for their work.
